Advantages of AlTiC

1. As far as the intermediate alloy production process is concerned, Al-Ti-C production process is pollution-free and is a typical energy-saving and emission-reduction product.

2. Compared with the purity of the intermediate alloy, because there is no potassium fluoborate as raw material, the Al-Ti-C intermediate alloy is not easy to produce salt inclusion.

3. Nucleating particles are released during the casting process, which can effectively refine equiaxed grains and prevent the formation of columnar grains

4. No TiB2 agglomeration to reduce inclusion content and eliminate oxide layer and defects on the surface

5. In terms of the influence of the number of second-phase particles, in pursuit of the same grain refinement effect, a smaller number of hard points can be introduced into the aluminum melt through Al-Ti-C intermediate alloy to avoid its potential adverse effects, which is more significant in the production of PS plate or double zero foil.

6. It is more advantageous to use Al-Ti-C intermediate alloy to refine grain when casting aluminum materials for nuclear industry that cannot contain boron.

7. Cost saving. In pursuit of the same refining effect, the addition amount of aluminum titanium carbon is generally less than that of aluminum titanium boron
